kein is gearing up for their biggest release yet. The J-rock outfit will drop Iustitia sine misericordia on October 7—their first full album in three years and their debut long-player since signing with major label King Records in 2024.

The 11-track album showcases where kein has landed after two EPs under their new label: PARADOXON DOLORIS and delusional inflammation (2025). Vocalist Mako penned all the lyrics, steering the record through the band's signature dark and introspective territory. Ten tracks are newly written; the exception is track seven, Amaoto no Kioku (雨音の記憶), a self-cover pulled from an ultra-rare 1999 limited-edition cassette. Reviving that cut with today's lineup signals how far the band has evolved.

The album arrives in two flavors. The standard CD-only edition is straightforward; the limited edition pairs the CD with a Blu-ray disc containing the music video for The Messy-Haired Grimalkin, plus behind-the-scenes footage from production.
